mobco peloton 2022: Flanderes edition

After our successful 2021 edition, in collaboration with Louyet concessions, we’re looking forward to welcoming you cycling enthousiasts again on June 11. For the 2022 edition of the mobco peloton, organised in collaboration with Samsung, we have selected the ‘holy ground of cycling’: Flanders!

The peloton remains true to its origin, meaning a healthy and easy ride, time to chat at an average below 25 kph (that is excluding the climbs). On the major climbs, such as Kwaremont, Paterberg, …, everybody goes up at his or her own pace – no stress. New for this year? The E-peloton, a second electrified group! Up to you which group you want to join.

Are you eager to enjoy the magnificent views over the Flanders hills during an easy ride with a pitstop half-way to fill up your bottle and have a snack? The mobco peloton is the best way to find out how nice this region looks like from a bike!

On June 11, 10 AM we’ll kick off the 2022 edition of our mobco peloton at Hotond Café, Kluisbergen. As it’s not a race, but a fun ride, everyone is more than welcome to join us for the 61km tour through De Vlaamse Ardennen. To ensure maximum safety, we will foresee motorbike security. A short FAQ

The track is designed for a race bike, but mountain bike is fine as well.
You’re more than welcome on an electric bike, we have a separate E-peloton! The track is similar but not 100% the same, adapted to e-bikes.
From experience, you should be able to ride 50km’s at an average of 22kph. Since we ride in a peloton, there’s no wind to beat and with the security on the motor bikes, we don’t have to stop very often…  That’s why we put 25kph as average (excluding climbs). It is really an easy ride.
On average, on the flat, we’ll ride at 25kph. Speed downhill will be +40 kph (without effort), uphill at your own pace.
Yes, you can skip most of the climbs. Just ask a road captain and he will assist you or join you to skip the climb.
Aside your bike, a helmet is mandatory. Bottles, food, cycling outfit is available for you! Please define the needed material in the subscription form.
Yes please, the purpose is to have a nice day outdoors! Just indicate the number of attendees in the contact form below.
